@siuyee CDBurnerXP is free works fine on Vista and handles almost any type of image. They also now claim support for HD media. Still you can't beat Nero. It's ridiculously fast at preparing the image it's going to burn (because it doesn't create one). If you are concerned about bloat, then it's safe to uncheck every single package except the actual burner.
@Kalan I'm not sure about XP, I don't have any such machine around anymore so you're probably right. Vista does support DVDs though.

@JasonCalacanis So are you really watching jaiku or are you subscribed to Mahalo on Google search ? Considering you once favored a blog post of mine on ChaCha I'd think the latter.

@Coreburn Each time I open a piece of mail from the website, gmail makes sure that this won't be available for my desktop clients and phone.
I think that for anyone who uses iphones or symbians or windows mobile or blackberries will think of this as a great advantage.

@techntools It dumps usefull mail frequently. I've even set up a weekly reminder to go and fetch lost things. And it's not like I get much mail anyway. It also tends to dump mail from my university's domain, which can't possibly be spam since the accounts are given only to students.
Exact same problem with hotmail btw.
